The Bill Richardson Watch, 5/4/2007

May 4, 2007
By THE SANTA FE NEW MEXICAN

Don't mess with moms: Mothers of stillborn children are battling with Gov. Bill Richardson over his veto of the MISSing Angels bill that would have allowed parents to ask the State of New Mexico to issue a birth certificate for babies who die just before or during birth.

A PR offensive is going out, claiming that Richardson is "ignoring pleas from heartbroken still birth families," and calling his veto "a grave error in judgment.

The campaign has issued a public service announcement to change his mind, and you can see it at YouTube, or on the MISSing Angels Bill legislative page.

These moms are mad, and they want an apology.

The RedState conservative blog  is alarmed at the prospect of Bill Richardson as president, but says that "on taxes, he's as good as a Democrat with national aspirations is likely to get." Read his listiing of what he calls Richarson's "checkered" tax record.

Want to know what Richardson says on the campaign trail? Here are a few of his interviews with Working Californians. Watch the videos at the Texas for Richardson blog.
